SXSW Film: Ready Player One
Spielberg is among the most successful filmmakers in recent history, and in 2018, he directed Ready Player One and came to SXSW Film for its world premiere where he introduced the film alongside the main cast members. As part of the promotion of the film, in addition to a wildly popular VR activation, Warner Bros. had people dress in uniforms based on the movie and appear around Austin, including at the premiere.
